Athletic bring in three more

Another trio join the Grays ranks

Jim Cooper is either the hardest working manager in the Bostik League, or desperate to get his transfer business done quickly so that he can go and sit on a beach in his speedos. We hope it's the former, as we've just put that image into your head long before the watershed!

We've already reported on a string of moves in and out of Grays Athletic, and this afternoon there were three more new arrivals. First in came forward Tony Stokes, who spent last season at Brentwood Town but previously turned out for Concord Rangers and Bowers and Pitsea. Second up was defender Ashley Miller, who has also a former Ranger of Concord, as well as being a former star at Bishop's Stortford and East Thurrock United. Finally, in came midfielder George Doyle, who will be rather familiar with his new surroundings as he made twenty appearances for Aveley last season.
