BetVictor Isthmian League Manager of the Month Awards- sponsored by Anderson Travel: November 2019

By Ian Townsend

The winners of the November Manager of the Month Awards- sponsored by the fabulous folk at Anderson Travel- have just been announced. Here are our winners:

November was rather an exciting month in League and Cup, but we’re focusing on the former, and here are our Manager of the Month winners, sponsored by Anderson Travel.

It’s a clean sweep! After we sent our ABI Golden Gloves Awards and our Supreme Trophies & Engraving Performance of the Month Awards to the red and white corner of King George’s Field, the Anderson Travel Manager of the Month Award goes their too! The K’s have been superb in League and Cup over the couple of months, and manager Hayden Bird certainly deserves his prize.

Congratulations Hayden- and to all at the K’s.

One for sorrow, two for joy, as the song goes- well here’s some more joy for those Magpies of Dereham Town, as manager Adam Gusterson picks up our November prize. November saw the side in black and white play four league matches and win them all, scoring sixteen goals in the process. They also got seven in their one County Cup fixture, and although that doesn’t count towards this award, twenty three goals in five games is some feat! Congratulations to Adam and all at Dereham.

South Central

We’re heading to Mayesbrook Park to give out our South Central gong, where the winner is Barking manager Justin Gardner. Five consecutive league victories have seen the Blues soar up the table, score eighteen goals in the process, and defeat Staines Town, Chertsey Town, South Park, Bracknell Town and Chipstead.
Congratulations go to Justin and his boys in blue.

South East

Whitehawk won a Sussex Sport Award in November, and if things continue in this vein they’re going to need a bigger trophy cabinet as manager Jude MacDonald picks up our November award for being the top South East boss. The Hawks ended the month by defeating the leaders, Cray Valley PM, and climbing to second place in the table- but that was only one of five league victories during the month. Burgess Hill Town, Ashford United, Three Bridges and Whitstable Town were vanquished too.
Congratulations to Jude and to all at the Enclosed Ground.
