Hawks bring in a Rook

Whitehawk have announced the signing of Lewes defender Stacey Freeman in time for their match against East Grinstead Town this afternoon.

Stacey has been with the Rooks for almost five years, and has made fifteen appearances this season. He juggles his football commitments with modelling work, having worked for the likes of Under Armour, Nike, Reebok, and Adidas, and has also graced our TV screens as a castaway in the Channel Four series 'Shipwrecked.'

As well as playing for the Rooks, he spent some time at Eastbourne Borough on a dual-registration deal. He also missed the entire 2017-18 season due to injury.

He is the son of former Whitehawk legend- and former Rooks manager- Darren.
