Ashford United might have lost Jerald Aboagye to title rivals Hastings United, as we advised you yesterday, but they also brought in a replacement defender.
Dquame Copeland arrived from Welling United. The defender has spent some time on loan at Merstham this season, making four appearances in November, but signed for Welling in the summer after spending last season turning out for Greenwich Borough and Bedfont Sports and spending some time in Sweden. He made three appearances for Sports at the end of last season, and this season has also been at Lewes, playing as a substitute in their draw with Potters Bar Town and starting at full back in their victory at Brightlingsea Regent. He is equally adept at full back and centre back.
He made his Nuts and Bolts debut in defeat at Cray Valley PM yesterday. The club also welcomed back Ben Binder from his spell at Ramsgate.
