Sports sign Bertie

Hullbridge Sports have announced the signing of midfielder Bertie Brayley.

Bertie, who has been training with the club for a fortnight, started his career at West Ham United and also spent time at Queens Park Rangers and Swindon Town. Since leaving the professional game he has played for a list of clubs so long that if we were to write them all out he'd have made his Sports debut by the time you finished reading this article, so we'll just mention Canvey Island, Heybridge Swifts, Margate, Chelmsford City and Bishop's Stortford.

He's also dipped his toe into the world of management, at Burnham Ramblers and Basildon United, as North Division fans who aren't new to the Isthmian world might recall.

Sports- and their new recruit- travel to Cambridge City tomorrow.
